About the Artist

Myong started first grade at the age of six, one year earlier than most children. At just six years old, she won first place in the State Art Competition for her painting of a temple with water flowing under a bridge, making the beginning of her artistic journey.

She currently resides in Olympia, Washington, where her beautiful pink gallery has become a beloved local landmark.

Myong’s paintings evoke emotion and invite contemplation inspired by nature, dreams, and personal experience. She strives to create art that brings beauty, joy, peace, and even healing. Myong believes that art has the power to heal the emotions, mind, and body, which is why many works of art around the world are valued in the millions, even billions.

Ultimately, her art is an invitation to pause, feel and see the world through a new lens.
